Chrome bumper and parts maintenance and care.

It is important to properly maintain your chrome products to keep a lasting shine.

What is Triple Chrome plated and why not Single Chrome plated?

The biggest difference between the Triple chrome plated and the single chrome plated is in the quality and the price.

In the single Chrome plated there is only one layer of chrome added and is a budget chrome.

In the Triple Chrome plated products, there are three different layers.

The first layer is Copper, Nickel, or Steel, the second layer is Nickel, and the third layer is Chrome. Making a durable finish.

All of our Products are Triple Chrome plated for a high-quality durable finish.

How to Maintain your Chrome Bumpers and products:

  1. We recommend painting the back of all the bumpers with a flare or satin black paint to stop oxidation on the back side.

  2. Use a Chrome Polish or wax on the Chrome Product.

  3. Keep the Chrome from setting in standing water, rain is fine. Wash off any salty residue from road spray as soon as possible.

  4. Wax or polish the chrome once a month

Note: When cleaning the road grim off the chrome do not use a wire brush or steel wool, they are both harder than the chrome and will scratch the chrome.
